Many of us have been working to build systemic change for a long time. That process means changing how we expect or believe ourselves to be, how our friends and family expect us to be, and how we expect others to be.

It's impossible to try to change ourselves or convince others to change without dishing out shame or having it dished out on us (or both at once) as egos and expectations are threatened.

How do we manage our feelings of shame and continue to consciously travel our chosen path?
